I found Avivit's training in search of an accent coach for my upcoming EP in English. I didn't really know what to expect, but I wanted to get to a point where I felt comfortable enough with my pronunciation and accent at the recording sessions.
The training exceeded my expectations and helped me to improve my intonation, grammar and mainly my accent and diction.
I am much more confident now not only with the songs we worked on, but I've managed to apply the tools to other songs as well.
My diction has improved both when singing and speaking in English, and unlike before when I wasn't sure how to pronounce specific words, there is much more consistency in my diction and enunciation now. I can now differentiate between the long E and short I sounds, as well as where and how to position my tongue with the TH sound.

I started the lessons so that I would be able to sing my songs in English in a way that would sound good to an audience and industry people abroad. I write and perform songs in English. In addition to the fact that it was important for me to make sure that the lyrics were correct without any [grammar] mistakes, I also realized after hearing myself in the recordings that incorrect pronunciation and accent were affecting the song’s overall ‘flow’ and I wanted to work on that.
The training met my expectations to improve my accent, and I now feel more confident when I sing. I became aware of pronouncing words and letters that I didn't notice I was mispronouncing before, like the "TH" sound, syllables like "EA" "OO" and more.

I never really thought about taking accent and diction training until a few music producers I contacted after recording songs for my album in English, brought it to my attention. From the very first lesson and because of the effective way Avivit teaches, I'd started to become aware of how I was using my lips and tongue and generally noticed how the words started to flow smoothly.
The training surpassed my expectations and I found that alongside taking vocal lessons, the accent and diction training was equally important to fully learn how to articulate my words and to learn to use my instrument (my voice) as we do with the articulation of any other instrument (like cello or guitar). My confidence grew because I now have the tools to pronounce words correctly and to thoroughly understand sounds and syllables in English. Tackling the pronunciation of even one word from different angles opened a world of sounds and syllables which I didn't know how to use before the training.
